Shane Macfarlane is a second-generation builder with over 34 years of hands-on experience in the building industry.
Every building and pest inspection is personally carried out by Shane, combining practical construction knowledge with formal inspection qualifications to provide clear, reliable advice at critical moments.
Learning the Trade from the Ground Up
Shane began his carpentry apprenticeship in 1992, working alongside his father, a respected and award-winning builder. Over the years, he developed a deep understanding of residential construction, from structural framing through to final finishes.

He completed his Cert IV in Building Studies and became a licensed builder in 2000, delivering residential building projects across Queensland for decades.
Expanding into Building & Pest Inspections
In 2020, Shane expanded his qualifications to include a Building Inspector’s Licence, bringing his construction expertise into the inspection space to support home buyers and sellers in making informed property decisions.
